Edge fitness club stay away

I signed a contract with them while being certain of having a job, not knowing my boss will up and leave country. Been battling to get a job in the meantime. Phoned them and explained what happened, their answer, not their problem. Got the bank statements and avidavite they asked plus the form I had to fill in. Done all that, then I had to scan the 2 papers (form and avidavite). Did that. Now my husband is out of the picture, don't have income, so I help 2 or 3 people out just for food and rent. I ended up in hospital twice where I couldn't help these people and ask an old friend to help me with school fees and rent money. Her admin person or who ever, paid the money in, so I was happy. But she paid it in to go through her books as "salary". I didn't notice. So I told them the money that I do get in is for people I help out and the "salary" is not a salary it is money I had to borrow. They didn't read the rest of my emails, just assumed that I'm working. Hello, it was once on the statement it doesn't say in the previous ones salary, except when I have to borrow from my friend. To make matters worse, the amount I offered they turned down, because it's little. I make like R900 and they still want R700 of it. How am I suppose to feed my child, pay the room I live in and get him through school. Can anyone tell me.
