Why pay insurance for Bad days?

I have an Account with Edgars and for yes I have been paying them including the Credit Insurance for oneday when I m retrenched or has past on, today I need that insurance to kick in, its nowhere to be found and they get to call and send messages at 3 am. What kind of buisness is this? or they think we dont know what need happening?
