Why is Edgars using Pep laser for our orders

Why would a big organisation like Edgars use Pep laser for deliveries. I have been waiting for my parcel since Thursday, even working from home so I can receive my parcel to no avail. They don’t even contact me or show up, but they keep on saying there is nobody at my address.
