What a way to treat retail workers

A visit to Edgars just made me the most unhappy customer ever. The 50% sale is running and I walked through to get myself one of their jackets displayed on the 50% promo. To my surprise when I got to the tills it scans the normal price. They weren't willing override the item to the promo price and I was instructed to stay understanding since I also work in retail.

What a way to treat retail workers. Should we start changing our outfits before going shopping?
