Voucher query

I received a voucher offering R250.00 off if spending R1000.00 at Edgars. As I have recently done exactly that I was attempting to find out how the voucher worked (if it was just deducted or if I had to take it in to the branch) The accounts department (call centre) said they could not help and gave me a number for the voucher department. On calling this number I was put on hold for the club department and after 3minutes on hold to what sounded like a dead line (just complete and utter silence on the line) I cut the call from my side. As the voucher expires today I did not want to lose out on this deal and needed clarity on the matter but am not prepared to be sent from pillar to post by people who are clueless as to what I am speaking about. I have already explained myself on two occasions now and am not prepared to continue to do so for however much longer it will take to find someone who knows what I am talking about
