I received the following Edgars discount gifts by entering the above promotion offerred by Vodacom:

R600 discount of R2000 purchase R150 discount of R500 purchase R150 discount of R500 purchase R300 discount of R1000 purchase R150 discount of R500 purchase R600 discount of R2000 purchase

If you consider the above, then i can purchase goods totaling R6500 and get a discount of R1950. Thats is what i did this past Saturday. I approached the Gateway Edgars and even spoke to the staff there and they confirmed that the discounts were valid. After two hours of seraching the store and finding the goods totalling just under R6500, i approached the tills. I was assisted by one of their casual staff. It took the casual staff some time to scan two basket trolley of clothing and after scanning and when showed the discount codes, i was advised by the casual staff that only one of the discounts can be utilsed per purchase ??. I then decided to separate the purchase so that we can utilised all the discount vouchers. So the casual staff cancel the transaction and so scan the items as per the discounts. The first discount voucher is R600 off a R2000 purchase. The casual staff scan items totaling around R2100 and when capturing the discount of R600, the system states that a further purchase of R800 is required in order to get the R600 discount??. This is fustrating. By this time, my family is exhausted and spending so much time at the till points. I told the casual staff to cancel the puchase and i will pay for the items i needed and leave the rest of behind as this ridiculous ?This is so heart breaking for my family☹️. This is so that bad that Vodacom and Edgars, who join together, to give this gifts to clients, are treated so badly. Absolutely disgusting!!!! ??
