Very upset
Hi..I received perfume as a gift for my birthday on the 11th of September. I do not like the smell and wanted to return it today. To my dismay Edgars Cresta Winnie tells me I can't due to the packaging opened. This was open when I received the gift and there is no where on the return policy where it says perfumes can not be returned at all. It does say underwear etc can't due to hygienic reasons which makes sense. I would like to find out why I'm not able to return perfume when it cleary states that all items can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Thank you

16 Sept 2019, 09:21It in fact has not been used!!!
You are now making me a blatant **** too.
I received it as a gift for my birthday of which I can proof with my ID.
You should then have a clear visible advise / sign or your staff should warn people buying perfume as gifts that it is not refundable or exchangeable as it is classified used when they buy it.
Do you have any clear visible sign indicating this??
And another thing this is perfume!!!!!
How will one know how the product smells without opening such wrapping on the product.
You have NO visible sign whatsoever saying that it will not be exchangeable or refundable if you open the package to smell it especially it being a gift!!!
I can even proof with my ID that it was my birthday and I have the slip for the reason that it could be returned or exchanged if not satisfied.
MY question to you would then be.
DO you have any visible sign to say that perfume bought as a gift IS NOT returnable / exchangeable in your stores or does your staff at the counter not warn the customer so they can rather then buy a voucher in stead?
