Very dissatisfied with Edgars service to close my account

I am very disappointed with the service that Edgars is giving their customers. I have asked for a paid up letter and my account to be closed by them But it has been weeks now and nothing is happening. I only got an email saying that my account has been prepared for closure. What the hell does that even mean? None of their email addresses that i have used to try to get answers has responded back to me. exactly why is Edgars doing this to their Clients????
