very disappointed loyal customer

i have been requesting a paid up letter for 3 weeks now. I call everyday, and everyday get promised it will be sent. the account has never been in arrears and each month you email my statement so why is it so difficult to send me the paid up. i was advised it will also take 30days to close my account- why?? disgusting service.
