Versace Dylan Blue no scent
I purchased a Versace gift set from Edgars on Black Friday. I went on a week-long holiday and took the 10 ml bottle with me, but when I used it, there was barely any scent. I assumed the small bottle might be weak and that the 100 ml bottle would be stronger. However, after returning home and using the 100 ml bottle yesterday, no one could smell it either—I even asked a few friends to confirm. I’ve only used the 100 ml once. What should I do with a bottle of cologne that has virtually no scent at all?

19 Jan 2026, 14:37 On 15 December, I went into the store and handed the cologne to Mdu, who works at the Versace counter at Edgars Gateway. He then called a manager, who advised that I would need to wait until 05 January 2026, as the brand representative was on leave. I thereafter contacted Edgars Customer Care and sent an email. A representative by the name of Carmen Naidu responded, confirming that a ticket had been logged and that a representative would contact me; however, no one did.On 16 January, just over a month later, Mdu contacted me and informed me that the manager had tested the perfume and found nothing wrong with it, and that they would therefore not be able to assist me further. During this conversation, I requested the manager’s name on five separate occasions, but Mdu stated that he was unable to provide it. I also enquired about the representative who was supposed to collect and test the cologne, to which he responded that he was not sure.I then emailed Carmen Naidu to query why, after more than a month, the manager had tested the perfume instead of the representative as initially advised. She rep****, apologising for the inconvenience and stating that she would see what she could do to assist.I am concerned because I was initially informed that a representative needed to collect the cologne from the store and have it tested in a laboratory. This has not occurred. Instead, after approximately 30 days, the manager tested the perfume and an agent contacted me to advise that the product has no defects. Why couldn't the manager do this in the beginning.
