Useless staff members

I bought a pair of shoes and couple of items at Edgars Kolonade. I then went to exchange some items, I was only given a slip for the exchanged items. During the week a pair of shoes that I bought one torned on the side, I then took it back at Kolonade. The guy who assisted me said he doesn't know what to do since I don't have the slip and also the manager was also not picking her phone so there is nothing he could do. I can't be driving around to exchange the shoes that are only worn once and also I can't be assisting in looking for the manager. Please help with the issue problem then train your staff to have solutions in such matters
