Useless is an understatement

I owed Edgars money and was handed over to this debt collection company (what a joke to call them that).<br> Edcon makes use of a debt collecting company called TRM.<br> The number for TRM is given as ***.<br> They hounded the hell out of me - even though I was paying my account. I was sent an sms giving me a discounted settlement figure - but this had to be paid before the end of September 2015.<br> I paid the full amount according to the settlement figure - and asked if I will receive a letter to say my account is settled. This was promised within 2 weeks. - two months later Edgars account department says I still owe the 'discounted' settlement amount and that they are not aware of the arrangement with TRM. Good grief - how do you appoint them and give them the authority to make a discount offer but you are not aware of their actions - plus the fact that my account is still not settled by a company YOU appointed to act on YOUR behalf.<br> <br> Sort this **** out and close my ****** account - I want nothing to do with Edgars / Edcon ever in my life.<br> <br> The worst service in the industry!!!
