Unsolicited marketing sms spam is disrespectful

Today I received an unsolicited marketing sms from Edgars.

I am not an Edgars customer and haven't bought anything from Edgars in years, so where did Edgars buy my number from!!??

And how disrespectful to send people who are not even customers unsolicited marketing spam!! The sms offers an opt-out service, but who pays for the sms to opt out of a service that was never requested or signed up for in the first place!!? Certainly not Edgars! Instead I have to pay for the privilege of opting out of something I never signed up for or wanted from a company I never deal with!!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! No more will I pay to opt out of something I didn't sign up for in the first place!!

Edgars, please don't disrespect people by sending unsolicited marketing spam to people who have not requested it! And then expecting them to pay for the sms to remove the marketing spam they didn't want in the first place!!!

Please remove my number from the database I did not sign up for! And please be more respectful and only ask people who are actually Edgars customers if they actually WANT YOUR UNSOLICTED MARKLETING SPAM!!!!
