Unprofessional service

Unprofessional and horrible service from edgars and RCS. Earlier this year i took out a cell phone insurance from edgars and was supposed to pay around R90. In June i realised that i have been charged twice every month for 1 policy.

I immediately phoned edgars customer care on the 10 June 20 at 10h10 and spoke to Tumisang who confirmed that there's actually two policies under my name. He promised to cancel one and refund me the extra money that was charged. He said he'll come back to me within 48 hours. He never called back until i phoned again on the 13 July 20 at 16h30.

Phumla said nothing has been refunded i she said she will do it and will come back to me in 5 days. 5 says became a month no call from edgars whatsoever. On the 2nd August I spoke to Mpho who said that indeed the has been a refund and I must wait for a statement for my satisfaction. In September i checked the statement and found out that nothing was reversed.

By this time i am owing something like R600 and im getting calls from debt collectors and my credit profile is being messed up. On the 13 October i decided to go to Alberton edgars and the store manager Sbusiso refused to come out of his office to speak to me. Dineo assisted me by calling customer care RCS and edgars and the said they'll refund the money.

In November when I checked my statement i found out that nothing changed except the balance that is ballooning. I called customer care and I was told that i must speak to RCS. When i phoned RCS they told me that i must speak to edgars. Now i have been pushed from corner to corner. When i ask to speak to the manager or supervisor im told that they are busy on the other line.

I last spoke to Aleah who took my details and said she'll get her sup to phone me but no call from them. I have since decided to cancel my account of over ten years. And in those years i never missed a payment. No wonder edgars is goin down the drain like a garbage. I'll will never buy any thing from them or any of its associates. Go to edgars at your own risk because if you have any problems no one will assist you. From ***
