Unhappy customer

I would like to share my experience at Clearwater mall Edgar's store on the 7th July. I went into the store and was admiring an item with no intention of buying it at the time coz I didn't have the money. A lady on the floor comes to me noticing how I'm looking at this item and asked me if I was aware that they offered lay buy and a service called "Pay just now" and explained to me a little bit more about the service. She told me that with the service I get to take the item home same day, pay a % and the balance later. This was exciting to me and she directed me to the counter to start the process. When I got to the counter was assisted by a lovely lady Thato and she guided me with the process and went on to pay the % I was supposed to pay. I then get an SMS stating that the transaction was reversed and immediately after that I get another SMS stating that the payment went through, I check my statement and indeed the payment had gone through. The lady then tells me that on their system the transaction declined and called her manager. The manager Given Thoso called "Pay just now" helpline and they insisted that the money was refunded to me but it wasn't in my account. They even asked me to send a statement so that they could see it wasn't in my account. After now spending more than an hour in the store I get told I will get my money back in 3-5 business days and I also can't take the item home. I know technical problems happen all the time but what is so upsetting to me is that now Edgar's disassociated themselves to the service and told me it's a third party and they can't refund me nor give me the item when they initially sold this service to me. I had no intention of spending money now I had to leave the store with no item and money gone. The money I spend was in one of my savings accounts now I have to lose out on interest until my money is refunded. I would like to know how Edgar's is going to do service recovery and redeem themselves from this situation because I really feel that there must be some kind of compensation. Thank you
