Unacceptable Practice by Edgars

I have been a client with Edgars for many years and I am dismayed at the fact that they automatically without your written permission join you to the Edgars Club. I have cancelled my membership to the Club before just to find out that I am a member onced again and that they are deducting monthly fees from my account. Trying from my side to cancel the membership I did not have any problem when using their telephonic enquiry system. However trying to recover at least the last three months club payments appears to be an excercise in futility as the phone enquiry system doed not yield results, When phoning you are moved from pillar to post,, asking to be transferred results in holding for 5 minutes at a time with no one comming back to you or you also find that you are cut off and have to phone again In the end you give up trying to make contact, Presumably what they want you to do thereby you having to write o f the money they have taken from you This is unacceptable and should be addressed, There system is not working. I phoned 6 times without any success.
