unacceptable....
I went to edgars in Westgate mall yesterday, unfortunately the branch didn't have my boot size that I liked. I spoke to a lady who was working by the ladies shoes department to assist, she first sent me to the shop selling only shoes by entrance 3, went there, there was nothing, went back to edgars because that's where I saw the boot. I asked her if she can call other branches for me, when she came back she told me only midrand, thohoyandou had the size but it was one of each and nicely asked her if she can ask one of the branches to send it through to Westgate because I know that can be arranged. She then told me it doesn't mean they do have stock and rudely asked if I was done because she wanted to go eat. I just didn't know what to say, I was not there to borrow or loan the shoes, I was gonna pay for them cash. I don't know why was she being so grumpy and rude. That was pathetic and don't see myself getting inside that edgars, if the staff thinks they are doing us a favor by being there. They might as well stay home. PATHETIC! Next time I will deliberately record everything and send it your HO, that is not acceptable, and will ensure that people looses their jobs.
We would like to sincerely apologise for the lapse in service. That is certainly not the type of service that indicates our standards. Customer are our priority and we are obligated to render excellent service and also go the extra mile, thus this query was referred to the store manager to address with the consultant.
Please note the store manager will make for certain that the consultant is taken for training so to avoid the re-occurrence of this nature. Concrete feedback will be given to you shortly.
