Unable to close account.

I wanted to close my account, EDGARS personel don't want to allow me to close account. Apparently it would take half an hour to close the account. It takes 5 minutes to open an account, I don't owe them a cent and don't want them to deduct monthly fees but don't get allowed to close the account. My time is valuable and they can't have my half hour.
