Try Paying your account in store lately??????

So I go to make a payment on my Edgars account. I eventually land up at the cosmetic counter till as the queues are ********** elsewhere, that on a Monday afternoon! 2 people ahead of me which takes far to long but thats service in SA for you! Finally get the individual behind the counter, who takes my card swipes it and prints this piece of paper with the following " there is now a new thing, you have to sign here to give persmission for your credit rating to be reviewed" I say I don't want my credit rating reviewed. "well I cannot continue with the transaction if you dont sign". What *****s do we have to deal with and does Edgars not want their customers to pay if they don't what their credit limit increased or are we dealing here with yet another individual who has no idea why his there, what to do and just knows he has to go through the motions???????
