Training needed maybe?

Just thought I'd share my experience to warn customers about purchasing dinnerware from Edgars. Purchased a dinner set from Edgars EastRand Mall, individual pieces to make up a set. Being individual pieces you are reliant on the cashier to package properly - maybe training is needed? Of all the items 2 bowls were broken when i got home, i would accept blame if these were on the outer packaged and then i would think maybe i bumped it in transit but these bowls were packaged in the middle. Anyway i took them to Bedford centre the next morning(reason for this store is i needed more items to complete the set), and was told once the items leave the store if it breaks they cannot be liable, just a side note bedford centre wrapped individual items in seperate bubblewrap and then sealed with tape and then above that sealed the entire purchase in tape which prevents any movement - if only this was done the first time round - I would not have had to repurchase the same items...
