They refuse to close fully paid account!!!!!!!!!

My Edgars account is fully paid up and there is even a credit. I called and requested account to be closed and was first given the run around on why account cannot be closed. I said they are welcome to write off the credit. Even after that, Edgars does not want to close off the account and says it will take two weeks!!!!!! What takes an account two weeks to be closed off??? Close my account!! I have fully paid you guys.
