Terrible service - Impression that I spread the virus...

My wife has been a Customer of Edgar's for a few years now, but I did not usually enjoy going into the shop, because everytime I don't really receive the service I expect as a client. This morning my wife decided that she wants to go to Edgar's for a few items and I decided to go with her as I was looking to buy a sleevless jacket as Edgar's caters for the upsize clients... Well, need I say, I once again experienced absolutely terrible service... I tried fitting one of the jackets on, which fitted perfectly, but I decided to leave it first and have a look at another shop first and then I would be back to come and buy the one I just fitted on. I understand that we are in a crisis with this Covid pandemic, but the way I was treated at Edgar's Kimberley, Diamond Pavillion mall, was absolutely a disgrace. I had hardly removed the jacket from my body and the next minute one of the ladies approach me, "Sir, will you be taking that?" Before I could even explain my side of the story, I said no, I am about to fold it up, and I wanted to explain that I just want to have a look at another shop and then I would be back... The next minute, her response: "No, no you can't fold it up, it now has to go to the back because of you, in this shop, we don't fit clothes..." I asked for her name and I walked away... I mean really, now... The impression I got was, as if she was assuming I am walking around spreading the virus... Get your facts right, Cynthia... Customer Service comes first, but if that is how Edgar's Kimberley treats their customers, then I am very sorry, my shopping will be done at another shop and definitely not Edgar's... Edgar's, you have just lost a customers, because my wife, that usually spends a good amount of cash there every second month, will also no longer shop there... What a disgrace to once again receive this kind of service... And be sure of this, my friends and family will know about this and I will name and shame Edgar's Kimberley and Cynthia...
