Substandard linen
<p>Back in the day Edgars was renowned for the quality and wide selection of linen and bedding on their shelves. 2 weeks ago I purchased a Private Collection 144 Thread count Duvet cover set marked at R1000. When I went home and opened it up it felt very stiff and scratchy. I decided to wash it and used a lot of fabric softener. This made no difference at all. It felt like I was going to dress my bed with brown paper wrapping, Even newspaper is softer than this linen set! I'm pretty sure I could find something better at the China mall for half the price. Looks like Edgars quality has really fallen off a cliff!</p>
