Struggling to close my Edgars account

I have been trying to close my Edgars account since December last year and still I receive emails and messages regarding my account. I even have a paid up letter which is dated 7 December 2020. I WANT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT!! I went in to an Edgars branch they also couldn’t assist me. I even got rejected for a home loan due to my Edgars being in “arrears” even though my account is paid up so just imagine my level of frustration with Edgars. Edgars is quick to let you know you have to pay your account but the customer service I receive is shocking to say the least. What do I have to do to close my account??
