Struggling to close my account

I have been trying to close my Edgars account since I do not use it and still need to pay card fee or admin fee every month which is unacceptable for something I don't even use. Phoned the ***number on the statement and the rude operator told me that I need to phone head office should I wish to close my account. So I asked her for the number and she gave me the exact number I was calling her on. When I told her that she just hung up on me. I tried to phone again, but the call just gets dropped the whole time.
