Sour Face

On the 26/01/2016 I went into the Edgars Retail store in the Greenacres Shopping Centre and experienced the most mortifying and utterly disturbing customer service from the word go! The cashier (Phapama) firstly did not greet me at ALL!!!! She did not even acknowledge me when I got to the counter. No smile on her face throughout the entire transaction. She wouldn't even open her mouth to say what she needed to say, example: to sign on the electronic machine. She simply tapped the pen showing me what to do!!! As an employee in the service industry I find this in contravention of all the standards we are meant to uphold. Things are as simple as if a person is un-happy then they should seek out another profession. I will definitely avoid her assistance in future! Managers need to speak to their team and remind them that they are not doing us any favours being there, as there are plenty of people who are in desperate need for work and who will be gratefully accept her job!
