Settlement discount
I have an account with Edgars that was handed over to collection agency,Which then offered me a settement discount.They said if I pay R750 my balance will be zero'd by edgars & I would receive paid up letter after 6 weeks,I paid the money on the 20th of February,I called the agency & they told me they have issued an instruction to Edgars,6 weeks later I call edgars,I still have a balance.Everytime I call I get different excuses.It seems this is not even attended to.The last time I called they said it would be resoved withing 48hours.two weeks later I am still not helped.Can someone explain to me what should I do to sort this out?
