SELLING BLACKLISTED DEVICES

I Purchased a Samsung Device on the 29 December 2015 at Edgars Connect Soshanguve. The phone, subsequently stopped receiving or making calls and sms's. I then went to Vodacom and was informed that my phone has been blacklisted on the 18th January 2016, citing the reason as ******.

I then went through the whole process of getting my cellphone un-blacklisted, which was unsuccessful. (Vodacom was honestly not helpful at all) and this process was done 3 times unsuccessfully. Only my 4th attempt was i notified that the store where i bought the device, is the one that requested my phone to be blacklisted and are the only one who can request the process to be reversed. Apparently there was a ******* at the store BEFORE i purchased my phone, and it was accidentally added to the list of devices to be blacklisted.

I have been in touch with the Edgars connect Soshanguve, but nothing has been done to date. Only emails that get escalated to Head office/ Datahub and the regional administrator with no response

Its almost 3 months that im stuck with a phone that isnt working, but im paying for monthly (as its on prepaid).

Disappointed and i will never ever purchase anything from Edgars.
