Security Tag Left on Jeans & Serious Inconvenience Caused

I am writing this out of extreme frustration.

I purchased a pair of jeans yesterday, 24 November 2025 at 15:57, at EDGARS FOURWAYS MALL, specifically because we are required to wear blue jeans at work today. I even went out of my way to buy a new pair so I could look presentable.

Your cashier, Dineo, asked me to rate her on a paper. I rated her kindly and didn’t want to disappoint her, for her sake and her whole focus was on that rating to a point where she stood there literally staring at me while I was urgently texting someone, waiting with a pen instead of removing this thing because her rating was more important that her work. I rated her, only to discover this morning that she did not remove the security tag, even though the alarm went off as I exited the store. This shows a lack of attention and care.

Now, at 4 am, while ironing and getting ready for work, I find the security tag still attached. I have to be at work by 6:45am, and I cannot wear the jeans I bought SPECIFICALLY for today. It is raining, which means I haven’t been able to do laundry, and the only other jeans I have are the navy pair I wore YESTERDAY. I am now left with no proper alternative because of your Dineo’s negligence. I'm so FRASTRATED, I don't know if I should wear this with the tag or wear the dirty jean I wore yesterday.

On top of that, I now have to use my own money, time, and transport to return to the store to fix a mistake that is NOT mine. This is unacceptable. I am honestly disappointed and I TAKE BACK my positive rating because the service I received does not match it.
