I've recently purchased two items which were marked as 50% off marked at your store in the Glen.<br> On reading the story regarding your pricing ****, I decided to check the price tag on the sale item I purchased.<br> Lo and behold there are two price tags .. the original price and over this an inflated price.<br> Very disappointing that a so called \reputable brand"store like yours resorts to inflating prices in order to dupe customers into buying these by marking them on sale after inflating the price. Clearly the edcon group have stooped to new levels and have resorted to a new low in marketing strategy.<br> <br> This is unacceptable "

Please be advised, should the item that you purchased have the price tag underneath and it is not scratched out, you can take a picture and provide us with this proof, along with your contact details on the email address: *** and we will ensure you are refunded the difference between the lower and the higher price points.
However, should the price tag underneath be scratched out, the above price tag applies.
As is common practice in a retail market, with rising fuel cost and inflation, Edgar's has had to increase prices of selected merchandise. This required Edgar's to re-ticket merchandise during the course of the trading season. Price increases were implemented well ahead of the Edgars promotional activities. Therefore the perception that price increases were implemented just prior to the promotions, is incorrect and any confusion was not at all intended.
