Safety measures on clients account

Sometime April I discovered that my husband purchased airline tickets on my edgars account without my knowledge. I immediately called Edgars requesting them to reverse these transactions. The consultant informed me I need to complete a dispute form. I refused to do so because I feel Edgars was in a position to reverse the transactions before the air tickets was actually used. I made many calls to the call centre also spoke to a team leader, no one was able to think out of the box and help me. Now the account is in arrears and everyone is phoning me, when I told them i'm not in a position to pay the account. I'm angry because you were in a position to reverse and now my credit rating is effected because of this. Not once during the process of these tickets being purchased did I get any notification that the sale happened. What safety measures are in place to avoid ********** transactions like these? Because now innocent people like myself are predjudiced because of your lack of safeguarding the clients account.
