RUDE STAFF at Edgars, Menlyn

At 11.30 this morning, 27th December, I went to the fitting room situated next to the mens' clothing section at Edgars, Menlyn. I was hoping to try on some LONG, knee-length pants. The rude assistant sneeringly said "Do YOU want to try on those shorts". I stupidly rep**** that I did and then she and her friend started laughing at me. My husband then said to them that Edgars deserves to have no customers, I threw down the pants and we left the store. At no point did the female person attempt to apologise to me. I am a size 10 so I can only assume it was not my size but my age (I am 60), that made her comment on my choice of clothing. I will never visit Edgars again and will ensure that I tell the 100 plus ladies that I work with to avoid this store. Fortunately there are many clothing shops at Menlyn so I was able to find what I wanted elsewhere where the staff were polite, friendly and obviously well trained.
