Rude disrespectful approach

I received a call from one of the agents at 15:45 and boy was that agent rude and disrespectful towards me. I have been a good loyal and paying customer for over 10 years. I'm currently on maternity leave and am not able to pay my account because I am not getting any salary for now. I have explained this to two agents that called last week. Today I receive a call from this rude lady whom I again explained my situation but she kept on being rude and questioned as to why did I not make a plan seeing that I was going to be on maternity leave... is it her place to question me?further more the tone she was using was very aphauling. I get that I don't have money for now but to be treated with disrespect is another. I'm so furious right now because I feel as though I am being treated like a ********. I have never once skipped any payments and I would often pay more. It's only now that I'm not getting an income that I'm stuck. Is this how you treat your customers? Other stores that I have an account with have understood my situation and accepted that I will pay when I resume to work<br> Why is this different with edgars? Do not let your agents disrespect me like they did. Hire competent ppl.

Hello munenes,

It is with great displeasure to hear of the overall service experience. Collections agents are to collect on all outstanding accounts but not on those who made payment arrangement.

Please contact the call centre on ***and make payment arrangement. A note will be made on your account and you will not receive calls. We have also notified the store manager of this query as collections agents are not supposed to be rude.

We assure you corrective measures will be taken to avoid the re-occurrence of this nature. We apologise for the overall experience.

Please find your reference number: ***/GO

Kind regards,
Customer Experience Team.
