Retail ****** by black cashiers at Edgars Sandton City against black shoppers.

Service at Edgars Sandton City branch is not only terrible and **********, but atrocious. This evening I had the misfortune of walking into that store, my word, I used to customer service is simply terrible in this country period, but at Edgars Sandton City, it is particularly horrible. A certain employee there, her name, Ms Violet Mekwa, processes mu purchase by credit card (had bought a pair of pants and a hot chocolate sachet, the camping thingings), she does the transaction and without telling me, she slides the slip/receipt into the shopping bag, and I asked her "Where is my receipt?" and she nonchalantly, with the worst arrogance of the dismissive nature I have ever have had to endure, she rep****, arrogantly, "It's in the bag." I was puzzled, my word, why put the receipt in the bag instead of giving it to me, because, it is my receipt, not the bag's receipt? Is it not common etiquette to give the receipt to the customer? The main reason is the service was so poor is, race. I am black man, and I have noticed that black cashiers at many malls treat black customers very poorly and white and Indian customers very well, because the cashiers believe in their minds that black customers do not deserve the best customer service, because they are not as rich as whites and Indians. In short, black cashiers at Edgars Sandton City, are ****** toward black customers. This is black-on-black ******, and it is rampant around the country at many malls. I am certain: I am not the only black shopper anywhere in the country who has not experienced this ****** attitude from black cashiers. If I ever buy from Edgars ever again, it will be miracle. I would have to have my head checked to ever buy from Edgars ever again, same goes for CNA. No wonder the entire group went bankrupt, it's essentially their lousy customer service, the ****** prejudice of their cashiers and customer-facing staff toward black customers like me. Steve Biko, was right , that the greatest weapon in the hands of the oppressor, owing to out apartheid history, is the mind of the oppressed. Cashiers at Edgars Sandton City believe they should be serving only white shoppers - who they, wrongly believe, are all rich, and therefore contribute more to their salaries and bonuses than black customers who they believe do not buy much from the stores, and thus do not deserve, in their eyes and minds, the best customer service as anyone who walks through the store.
