Reported to ITC (TransUnion) for R150 credit debt

I am a qualified young professional (Civil Engineer) who opened an Edcon account for the sole purpose of getting a good credit record,<br> <br> A few months after opening my account I was looking to purchase a house and required a bond to do so. Long story short my home loan was approved immediately by my bank.<br> <br> A few months later I ask my bank for a small credit card increase. This was denied due to Edcon red flagging on my Credit Report. I had paid up my Edcon account earlier that month so I was highly surprised to hear this and contacted TransUnion immediately. When I contacted Edcon to get proof of up to date payment the person assisting me (Unknown) stated that my account was not handed over to ITC and that it was dealt with internally (due to the small amount of R150 owing). I also stated that I had received no email reminders of my account being in the arrears. I only received a few sms that came across as spam or ***** messages. <br> <br> Even though TransUnion has been informed that my account is paid up this will show on my record for 2 years. Due to Edcon handing over my R150 debt to the ITC I am now denied any line of credit for the next 2 years. <br> <br> How can Edcon removed from ITC record
