refusing to covert account
I have been with edgars for almost 6 years as an account holder...I started on a 6 months plan then since I was a student I then converted to 12 months...long story short...I am now working and wanted to convert my account back to 6 months and I have been denied twice by the sales people on the line...They always cite that my credit record will not allow me to...This was on the same day that I had managed to do so with my Markham account without any problems...and I am paying for a home,2 contract phones and a car all of which I have never not honoured a payment for...I have never in the history of this edgars account not honoured an instalment. I feel that it is forceful trickery to pay interest. I am very disappointed and am working towards settling the account and leaving the creditor they are appalling.

Thank you for raising your apprehensions with us. Please be advised we no longer change 12 months plans to 6 months as per the new company policy. This was after the affordability check was done and a decision was taken that no 12 months plan will be changed to 6 months.
We apologise for the overall experience, but this is a decisions we cannot override. A 6 months plan is available for New Account holders but they need to qualify.
