REFUSAL TO CREDIT

My mother purchased adidas trackpant and Proaction shoes for my brother some time in December 2014 and unfortunately my brother passed away on the 18/2/2015 and those clothes were unworn. I returned the stuff at Edgars Greenacres and was told the stuff is on sale and therefore cannot be credited to me at the original value even though it was purchased on account. I had no slip but it was purchased on my mom's account therefore theThere is nothing on the terms and conditions that states that condition. Funny enough they had a lady returning the stuff she bought in December as well.

Please note i will not accept this as CPA says I can be fully refunded in 6 months and those clothes are still new.

Please resolve this soon and get back to me.

Regards
Hello MissVeni,

As per our telephonic discussion, kindly note our refund and exchange policy is part of the policy we render to our customers. We can only refund and exchange provided that; there is a proof of purchase, the item is unworn, the price tag is still intact and it is still within 30 day warranty. If the 30 day warranty has lapsed, the store manager can use his discretion to exchange for the customer. However, a refund will not be granted. Edcon does comply with the CPA, and the 6 month return does not comply to clothes especially those that are not branded items.

This matter was referred to the regional manager as you state you are not happy with the account being credited with the system price. Concrete feedback will be given to you shortly.
