Random calls to make payment

I am a little bit concerned about Edgars calling me requesting payment when they have my details on their system and have been deducting funds for the last few years. I received a call from ***. The lady identified herself as a Edgars employee to confirm that payment can be made at Easy Pay, Pick n Pay etc. I find this call very strange since Edagrs have been deducting funds via EFT. The lady confirmed that payments are taking a while to reflect on the systems and now they calling. Makes no sense to call someone who has a standing EFT payment.
