R50 Voucher

I received a R50 voucher and the store advises we can't buy airtime at edgars mobile even though it sells airtime, I asked the sales reps whyand she responded by saying she doesn't know why.

You can't even buy anything below the amount it has to be the exact amount of the voucher or more the reps advised.

So what is the reason of giving out vouch hers if we as customers cannot utilize them.
