Prescribed Debt

I Have been calling into Edgars Since April , I had Checked my Itc Listing and it showed that they had me listed this has been more than 3 years that I paid this account and was never contacted , I phoned them to ask why it was still listed and a one of their call center contacts told me I will get a letter end of April stating that it's Prescribed debit, on the 3 June I called again asking about the letter i was informed it will be emailed to me , Yesterday I called in and I spoke to a Jason who is in the Finance department and he told me that I cannot get a letter as Edgards only Prescribes debit after 5 year, Now as my understanding the National Credit Amendment act from 2015 States that Debit is Prescribed after 3 years.Does edgards have their own Credit amendment Act.???
