Poor Workmanship on Item
<p>I bought a pair of Pierre Cardin Shoes from Edgars 2 and a half months ago.</p> <p>I was shocked when the heel of the shoes broke in half. And this is not generally where a shoe breaks due to wear and tear.</p> <p>I took the shoes into the gateway branch and was told I could not get another pair as I dont have a receipt. Seriously edgars.Who keeps a receipt for a shoe you already using. And especially since you are a reputable store and the many pairs of shoes I had purchased from your store has never given me an issue ever........</p> <p>Surely the fact that I stil had the shoe box with the Edgars label...that would account for something. ...I want a replacement shoe or a refund. ....or voucher. </p> <p> </p> <p>This type of service is unacceptable. ..</p>

Please note our terms and condition clearly indicate we will only be able to refund or exchange an item –if there is valid proof of purchase, (till slip or gift receipt), it is within 30 days of purchase, it is in its original packaging.
This is communicated to customers on the reverse side of all till slip. Please be advised stores are more particular on Branded items as these items are not only sold at Edcon.
