Poor Service/Red Tape
My complaint is two-fold. First of all I was re-trenched in November 2014 and when I went to my branch to report this and claim from the insurance, I was told that the retrenchment letter which I received from the company I worked for, did not specifically state as a heading that it was a letter of retrenchment. The letter clearly indicated in the content that I was retrenched, giving all the details required by law. I dispute this and I want the insurance to pay for my losses.

Secondly, my cellular phone which I bought at this store was ****** out of my car via the remote jamming ****. I reported this to Edgars and submitted an insurance claim. This already took place in December 2014 and after many visits to the store and many telephonic conversations with Hollard over the phone, NOTHING has happened yet!! This phone was only worth R800, but it was all I had and to replace it was impossible due to my unemployment, but it seems though R800 is the end of the world to Edgars, because they have sooo many stories and excuses why they cannot replace it. I think maybe they are busy going bankrupt and they need that R800 to stay afloat!! How about a little feedback people!!!
