Poor Service

I had received a Guess bag purchased from Edgars as a gift.The Guess sign was there obviously because it is affixed to the bag. However,when I visited the Edgars store,I noticed that the other bags had a disc with the words guess on it.My bag lacked this.When I spoke to the manager she said that she would look at the footage to see if the guess disc was there at the time of purchase.I gave her the relevant dates.No contact was made with me after that.I had to call her and she said that the bag was too black on the footage and she could not make out if the disc was there or not.I told her that I am not looking for a refund,just a credit.It was a gift with no receipt.She said that other stores are selling guess bags,but other shops are not selling this particular guess bag because I looked around.I just requested a credit for a fault that is not mine.
