POOR QUALITY GOODS

I went to Edgars The Grove mall to buy my 4 year old son some clothes, I bought a set of a Spider man outfit together with a Spider man back pack amongst other clothes, this was shortly before the festive, we realized that the zip for the back pack does not work and the spider man outfit looked like it was bought 5 years earlier just after it was washed once, he wore the outfit once and when it was washed the colour washed off and it looks off and old. we went away for the festive and I am not certain if I can still take back the items back to the store and have them exchanged as I think the 30 days period has lapsed. I am very disappointed as I also buy items from other cheaper stores but I have never experienced this with their items so this was a shock to have this poor items from Edgars after spending over R1000 for the shopping. Please assist in having this corrected as I cannot settle to have such poor quality items at such a high price@
