poor quality

i bought formal shoes in March which are coming apart already, tried to return them but i am being forced to take a gift card instead of a refund as i lost the receipt. the transaction is being picked up but the store refuses to refund me as i cannot find something else to take.. worse part, i made three purchases that day from Edgars and this is the kind of after service i get, disgusted!
