Poor quality

Evening, I bought the school shoes during December school holidays and now is march and the shoes are broken into pieces, bought them at Edgars Mall of The north when I returned them I was told about the 3 months period for damaged goods which I found it being unfair since I bought the shoes while schools were closed and the shoe started being used I January after the 15th, the guy who was assisting me was kind 6 rude and I ended up leaving that broken pair of shoes at the shop. Please help me reach out to edgars
