"Pendingh Closure" for ever

How long can a cancellation take? According to Edgars that answer is "for ever". I've been trying to close my Edgars account since the 1st of December 2020, and the only response I'm getting is "pending closure". No detail, no estimated time when it will be done, no apology for taking this long...just "pending closure". Pathetic. I'm really glad I'm breaking ties with Edgars!!!!!
