Payment for Non-existent Account

I closed my Edgars account in 2013 with no outstanding balances (cant close it any other way) and my card was cut IN store.

Now 4 years later i have outstanding membership fees, firstly where did it come from all of a sudden and secondly how did they just decide that i'm a member again and they will charge me as such?

With my refusal to pay for an account they handed me over to NORLAM who absolutely refuse point blank to listen to my part saying only that i must pay it and sort it out with Edgars. Edgars and NORLAM have gone so far as to threaten me with Court Sherrif's for a R215 for a membership fee that I don't have!!! Disgusting attitude and bully tactics.
