Pathetic, Unprofessional and False pretence of service not delivered: (Luwayne)Bionic Hair studio Monte Vista

This is my response to my Initial complaint dated on 20 June 2016 and 25 September 2016. Edgars responded on 26 September with reference number ********** 105/GO.
I was contacted by the salon through Mr Pretorius, who apologised and promised to start with a series of treatments and then see how they will help me to get my hair growth back. From promising to get my hair growth back to I can’t totally blame my hair texture and hair loss on them and expect them to carry the cost of treating hair.
As it is also due to stress, hormones and medication, he now feels that I should at least pay for the wash and blow dries. To their consultant literally ripping the skin of my eyelids (while she suppose to do a brow shape) and leaving me with the scars and marks. I am disgusted in how Mr Pretorius treats Bionic hair Salon clients or maybe it is just me. I feel sorry and sad for the owners as they are two wonderfull people but as I do feel they allow him way too much and he is doing damage to their salon and reputation. They allowed him to manage the complaint and he has made it worse, he made empty promises, and he **** to me, made me go back to the salon under false promises and pretence and now I am paying them to fix my hair. How is that possible or right. How does he justify that.Edgars should really be careful whom they associate their name with? And even more so the owners of Bionic Hair Studio should be careful that he don’t ruin their reputation and good name that they have work so hard for over the years. How dare he blames all this on the passing of my daughter, I am disgusted in how he treats me and how he handles this situation. He does not have to like me or greet me but he has to fix the mess they made, which is not an unreasonable request and that is what he promised to do when he called me but all that changed from the moment I stepped back into their salon. As that is what he is now saying indirectly that you loosing your hair cause your child died, please do not put that on us! How dare he do that. How low can anyone stoop in life just to make money and not loose money. Stop lying and pretending and just fix my hair. Or then they should carry the cost for my going to anther salon and have my hair fixed, yet no other salon wants to assist me as they all feel that Bionic can and should do right by my as their client. I honestly doubt that the salon will go bankrupt if they fix my hair and remove the marks left on my eyelids. Or if they actually give me the proper customer service I deserve as a client. How is it possible that their stylists agree that it is their responsibility to get my hair growth back and the marks left on my eyelids but not Mr Pretorius? He clearly never had any Intention of providing me with the proper services and treatments he just wanted to tell Edgars that he did make contact with the client. I cannot believe that he is allowed to lie to clients and mistreat them like this. Till date nobody actually sat down with me and saw the actual damage and breakage to my hair, only the stylist will comment on the breakage while she is busy blow drying my hair.
I want to place it on record that we lost our daughter Caitlin on 17 April this year. She was 1year and 11months old. I was and am still sad a lot and I do not think I will ever be ok again but that was the main reason why my husband insisted I go and get my hair done for my birthday.
I don’t always have the energy to get out of bed or face the world, but going to the salon once a week was something I could do for myself and also get out of the house,
Our daughter was born on 15 May 2015 at Pretoria East Netcare and was diagnosed at birth with a terminal disease called Trisomy 13 and was given a life expectancy of 0-7 days to a year to live. I was a Captain in Crime Intelligence Head office in Pretoria and I resigned after my maternity leave to take care of my daughter. Caitlin didn’t always sleep for some times hours or days on end, that suffer from convulsions where she will stop breathing for long periods of time and re**** on me to bring her back and supply oxygen to her lungs. Three times in her short life we stood next to her bed in neonatal ICU and where told to greet her as she is busy passing away, but every time my daughter proofed them wrong and stayed with us. Until 17 April 2016 when she left us.
Through all that...all the stress....all the sleepless nights and days...resuscitating your daughter over 5-6 times a day as she stopped breathing.... standing at your daughters hospital bed and having to say goodbye to your daughter and waiting for her to pass away on so many occasions... I never once had any hair loss. But me having this brazillian done caused hair loss and breakage
So how dare this man blame my daughter passing away to me having hair loss? How dare he do that. Blame their mess and unprofessionalism on an innocent child.
I came to them months after she passed away and had no hair loss. How dare he blame her for their mess and mistakes? How low can someone stoop in life in order for him to not take responsibility for their actions? Yet, only once I had the Brazilian done at their salon based on how he sold the treatment and experience to me. I experienced hair loss. I told him immediately after the treatment about my hair texture being different. I called after two days about the texture and the loose hair after combing or brushing (as the day after the treatment was a public holiday). Four days after I send an email raising my concerns. Six days later I was in their salon for my wash and blow and raised it again with him, the wash girl and the stylist. And yet here we are. How is this right or fare? How is this customer service? How is this right to treat your clients like this?
I have now been advised to take my complaint to the Consumer Protection Board of South Africa. Who was apoled at the treatment I received till date. Which I’m now did. I obtained my reference number from them about my complaint.
