Pathetic Service-Edgars Centurion

I recently purchased a Soviet watch from your Edgars Centurion Branch. I gave the watch to a friend as a gift only to find out the battery was dead. My friend then took the watch and had battery changed at a reputable jewelry store and the watch still didn't work.
I took the watch back to Edgars centurion and explain what happened to a sales assistant who then called an Assistant Sales Manager. At that point I said all I want is a replacement watch or a refund. Firstly this manager was rude and arrogant, said he needs to send the watch in for repairs and will not replace it. I was upset and refused to accept that and tried to explain to the manager that the gift hasn't even been worn, it was only purchased on the 13.08.2015 and needs repairs.
